Well, it's not like me to be so miserable so I'm vowing to be a happy bunny from now on! But hang on, I've just to complain a bit more....
My job....not sure about it. Don't want to say too much just incase - and my photo is up on my blog so it wouldn't take much to find it....
I hardly ever seem to be in the classroom, but I'm either in this room where some kids come for extra help, or in a room called the Isolation Room for kids that are internally excluded (there has been no one in there yet). This is what the LSA's did in my last job. They would go round with the kids that needed special needs etc. All very good if that's the sort of thing you like but I don't like it...I feel guilty saying it but it's not what I like doing. (I wrote a lot more and then removed it). I'll hang on and see what transpires, I might be able to ask for more classroom time further along the line.

Houses - huh, who needs them. We have a lovely pet cemetery here, trees, grass, a sunken bath and mock tudor firplace in a 70's bungalow - lovely!

Oh yes, some good news.....my brother's new baby was born on Sunday! So welcome to the world Ferdinand! (with a name like that, he could start a war - geddit?!) (He is half Austrian - so you never know!)

See - I'm up early too these days.
Ferdinand! poor kid!
Just kidding - his mates can call him Franz.
I hope the job improves - but don't think you should apologise for knowing what you want/don't want in a job. Schools are all so different - if it doesn't work out, I'm sure you can move on to something else and better.
Or Ferdi, yeah I like that.. is that by the french wife or did they split? can't keep up... cheer up chicken who needs a house huh.. hope the job works out too... when you coming over for some cheering up Tat syle??
Ferdi the Birdy did a little Turdy...can you not just HEAR the kids at school ragging him? Poor lad.
Thanks for that Geena! (hahahah)
I'm sure my brother has already said "ferdy's done a turdy" when examining the nappy contents!
Congrats on being an Auntie! Ferdinand is certainly not a trendy name so good for them for being original, but its true he may have a tough time at school...but even that has probably changed, so many names and nationalities...new jobs are difficult, hey maybe that's one I've stayed at mine for so long! But trust your instincts...
Ferdinand is OK in Austria, which is probably where he'll be brought up! But in parts of London and the Home Counties, Ferdinand is quite commonplace!
Ferdinand is a fab name, wherever you are in the world! :O)
Ferdinand. Um. I think I like it.
Bad news re the house. What a pain. The job will work out, I'm sure otherwise as wise woman Lettuce says, you'll soon find another.
All's well in the end, if only you've the patience to wait.
Not sure if that's a good translation but nothing like a bit of Rabelais on a Thursday evening to lift your spirits, eh!? Um maybe not - wine might be more effective!
Chin up sweetpea. I think we should meet up (again). How about the CL Christmas Fair? I always meet up with my friend Amanda. We could meet you and Letty, whadda you say?
I say you don't discuss things like that when I am listening... I wanna come .....
can't !
I'm glad you have some good news, Sweetie :o}
Welcome to the world little Ferdinand xxxx
~(:o})=
I could do a Thursday. I always go mid-week. Oooh I'm excited :-)
oh yes, me too, me too, me too
Haha you lot are so funny. I think I might just go along and follow you about incognito taking photos. Then I could post them on my blog.
I shall start work on my disguise!
Right then Dons, Letty and Amanda(!) - see you at the CL show!
and we won't let DL take sneaky snaps of us in our tweed skirts and twinsets saying "Ooooh isn't that just devine"
You try and stop me.
Mind you, the only disguise I have is my black cat woman outfit. I think I might stand out a bit in that at the CL show!!
What are twinsets? Are they like antimacassirs or whatever those things were that you described to me once!!
Tweeds and twinsets, hehehehe!
Ok it's a date girlies. I'll check with Amanda (you'll like her, she's fab) to see if she is available and then firm up details. November will be here before we know it but it will be something to look forward to :-)
Le Chat, I dare you ;-)
yes, much like antimacassars.
What date is the CL Christmas Fair? Will I be in Australia??
~(:o})=
I have no idea GOW if you'll be in Australia or not! I really think you should manage your own diary! (hahhaha - would love to see you there GOW too)
I think we should ditch the tweeds and twinsets for the day and wear antimacassars. I'm sure we could sew them into something divine!
