just a quickie! ooh er missis
thought I'd just quickly update. What a mistake starting an online blog when you are left with no broadband and have to use dial up! Hence the lack of blog. Also, we have no email at the mo so can't communicate with anyone!
So, to Rosie, whom I miss, I am fine but can I come back now?
Life here is an adjustment. We have no neighbours, just wild rabbits, deer and pheasants which franklly is no substitute for people, which I need, badlyl, being such a people person. Anyway, have been here for just one week and know it will improve the minute I make a friend, just one friend would be nice! But on the plus side, the girls are happy and LOVE the countryside. The house is vast and comfortable and we have a lovely view over fields. Andy is fine with his commute. We have a seven foot christmas tree! Things will improve for me just got to keep at it!
Will write more just as soon as this stupid broadband comes on!
Lots of love to all at E Hill, ! Missing you all lots. Lu

Oh Goody, a message! I'm sure that you are feeling a little bit strange - a bit like when I went to Brownie camp and I was only 5 and they had to ring my parents to come and get me after one day!! It was a kind of rumblytumbly feeling that felt very strange and frightening but it went away soon. So don't worry and order out for some pizza - it might come via a horse and cart - but it will create some sense of normality!!!
I'm jealous of the Christmas tree - I haven't got mine yet!! I wish I could fit a 7 footer through the front door. I hope you had fun decorating it with your girls!
Start feeding the little animals and you could pretend that you are some kind of little fairy-tale girl who gets the animals to knit her clothes or build her a carriage out of moonbeams or something. I would like the peace and quiet of it all to be honest. I do hope you are alright my lovely. I miss you very much and wish you were here with us.
It's all very tired and weary at work and we can't wait until the end of term. M has gone in for her operation and J has jetted off to NZ. Still, we're doing a panto in final assembly and having some nice lunch afterwards.
We do so miss you. I hope you keep up the blog, because it is easy for me to get to and read.
Look forward to hearing more about what is happening and your jolly old Christmas out there in the wilderness. I'm wondering if a lonely traveller, someone like Jane Eyre perhaps, might stumble upon your abode and you could find out that she is your long lost cousin (as you wipe her straggly, wet hair and feed her potato peelings)and then she could tell you that you have inherited loads of money from Miss Reid or someone like that in a Jane Eyre kind of way. Seriously, though, I know that you will find friends very quickly because you are a joy to know, my Lu.
Talk soon, teaching all day, and I have to go and get my resources ready. Love you loads, Rxxxx
