to the top!THIS IS THE SUMMIT OF MONT VENTOUX THE FIRST TIME HE CLIMBED IT! NOTE THE ICICLES! THE SUMMIT WAS SHUT TO TRAFFIC (BECAUSE OF THE WIND AND THE SNOW) BUT THIS DID NOT DETER THE INTREPID CYCLIST! SO NOT THROWING OF BANANAS COULD TAKE PLACE!

video was very stop-and-starty - my computer is obviously too old and crap, I'll have to watch it again on M's better faster machine.
Yes, better to let the vid load and then watch it! Otherwise you get it stop starty. If you watch it second time it will play normally (probably).

Lettuce - to deal with the stoppy starty thing you should click on the pic in RW's blog to get to the proper tube site, then click on pause so that the whole thing can load up first.
If you have an old crap machine (like mine) then it will take ages - go off and find that bottle of wine that you had stashed for a rainy day and crack it open. Pour a drink, then check to see what's on TV, then rummage through your cupboards for a snack - you know - the usual things.
Then it should be ready - press play (don't forget to whack the sound up) and enjoy ...

Yes I am very spoilt with presents. My family are very generous. Those pictured were just from my mum and sister. I had another pile from Paul and the kids and then more in the evening from friends. Birthdays are very special in our house. You don't get many in your life so it's nice to make a big fuss of the person on their special day. We always go OTT!
