I'm off to this gala now. Ruth and Asher are going out cycling - she is letting him ride her precious orange bike - it must be love!! Well, I hope not. That wouldn't do at all really but it's good that she has someone who can cycle with her - I can't keep up.

PS We have a sort of pictureboard at the house in Verbier and if you stay there you have to put funny pictures of you ski-ing there. There are some very funny ones of me!!

I hope you are enjoying the glorious sunshine today. It is marvellous. I think that's where everyone is - outside.
I fed the squirrels 10 Snickers bars today to stop me eating the multi-pack that was in the cupboard. I went through the whole thing and filled a carrier bag full of chocolate and gave it all away. It was very cathartic. The squirrels are looking very fat now! Ha ha ha.
I'll have to set up a little trampoline for them to exercise on. Or a little exercise bike. When they took their first bites, their faces looked like they were thinking, 'This is better than the usual crap you put out here!' and they looked they were actually smiling....!
I shall make the trampoline out of cocktail sticks and a pair of old tights...

blogger won't let me publish my blog today!
Blogger was probably missing me. It knew I couldn't blog today because I was incarcerated in school with whining teachers, so it went on strike.
I was going to write something but I won't bother if blogger is not going to let me post it.
What have you been up to then Rambling? Other than missing me,of course. You shouldn't go away really, not even for one night.

Can't read your posts at the moment - too busy - I'm at work but just wanted to do a quick respond to your comment on my blog - hope that makes sense?
haha - yes RW - we do have phones but wouldn't it be a shame NOT to leave comments just because we are related?
Roxy and I email at least once every day and talk on the phone on an average once a week, so the blogging comments are not a substitute but a lovely addition to everything else.
As for Dons, well, we're lucky enough to be able to see each other regularly but that doesn't mean we're able to communicate properly 'cos the kids won't allow it! hee hee
