For Bangla Jess
As Bangla Jess has not seen a British spring for eight years I am sending her a wet daffodil and some hyacinths. It's a lousy day here in blighty, windy and rainy but the blossom is out...it was too wet for me to venture up the road to take a picture for you...maybe tomorrow...
Enjoy - sorry we don't have smellovision.
And the forsythia is poised to come out..
And finally...... AMYRILLIS WATCH!
My goodness matron, that's a large one!

AMYRILLIS, hello sailor!!!
hi Luce, lovely pics. It is, indeed, a large one.
The weekend paper had something abut smell-o-vision - on its way apparently. No really! in the future we might all have little boxes attached to our computers to communicate smells.....
doesn't bear thinking about, does it?
Spring is just around the corner but will it ever stop bloody raining? I adore the scent of hyacinths, wish we had smell-o-vision now.
well show me the way to AMYRILLIS!
Thanks RW, I enjoyed the flower show, hope the weather's picked up today.
