Want to hear something really spooky?

Got a message from Meg who asked me if I'd been in Norwich today, I had. See her comments on yesterday's blog for more info. OMG!!! Her friend should have taken a photo of me! I wonder where I was when she saw me? Looking bored stiff while listening to FIL's monologue? Chewing my knuckles in desperation at his conversation? Yawning while he regales me with yet another memory of his? Duffing him up after he said I look like Pauline Quirke? Here are some photos I took between all of these things:

Well, we loved Norwich. What a great place. Bet these photos has made Betty go all funny.

This woman could be Meg's friend! How spooky would that be!

Oh Goodness, I was in Norwich yesterday and I kept thinking that I was going to bump into you. How spooky is that. I kept looking around for you on Saturday....

I saw the ski slope outside Ipswich..you should go there, it looks fab. Oh, Le Chat, I can hear you saying - 'A convert!'

hahahah Trac. I was going to put 'almost' and then scrolled down and saw that you'd put it too!

It's a bit spooky thinking you are anonymous and then getting spotted. I mean in ALL THOSE PEOPLE? I must have stood out. Perhaps she thought it was Pauline Quirke.

FIL just said I look like Amanda Redman as well (he's watching New Tricks)

It looks lovely. I must go. I meet bump into you or Betty. I don't think my friend is any of those photos though.

Off home now, my duty is done. Lots of nice wine to drink now, courtesy of T and R.

I love New Tricks.

And I quite like Amanda Redman so you'd better watch out!!

That really was spooky. But oh, those pictures of Norwich. I feel all nostalgic - I used to take the twins to this little toy shop (langley's?) just to the right down that little arcade. I must go visit. And the Cathedral Close - ahhh!

Oh don't be sad. You don't look a thing like Pauline Quirke from your photo. What silliness.

I like Alun Armstrong actually - how perverse is that!!

Ruth uses the phone as a camera, that's why it was on the bridge. She is still a bit peeved about it as she doesn't have a record of half of the numbers anywhere else. Whoops!

I was in Norwich ages ago (1987?) - Jay (yes, I know, who the hell is Jay?)did a sabbatical at UEA and we lived in this lovely house at the top of Gas(p) Hill. I very fond memories of the place, although not of the hill.

Will explain about Jay another time. I really must look at these application forms - it seemed a good idea at the time todo loads of interviews in one day (get them out of the way) it seems a less attractive idea now.
